  1. The department has a total intake of 90.

The various aspects of Information technology include computer programs, Database management system, Application programs, Communication networks, analysis and design networks, programming languages, Artificial intelligence, Knowledge of hardware, E-Commerce, Telecommunication, Web development, Software engineering, Enterprises resources planning, VLSI design, Latest Internet technology and sales & marketing.

  3. The department has successfully organized the CCNA (CISCO Certified Network Associates), CCNP (CISCO Certified Network Professional) courses.
     
  4. The department has organized various seminars on Oracle, Linux operating system, VLSI technology, Dot-NET technologies etc.
     
  5. The department has organized the inter college national level competition on various activities like Software development, Web-site development, Hardware presentation etc.
     
  6. The Department has produced above 98% pass results for last three years.
     
  7. The greatest achievement of the department is the placement of many students in some leading Multinational companies, which include.

  8. Implementation of Wi - Fi Technology in college campus. Engaging more Professors from various reputed Institutions like IITs, RECs etc for their frequent visit to deliver the lectures on the latest technological topics. Framing the policies to encourage the department faculties & students for their engagement in activities like publication of research papers, book writing, seminar presentation on latest technologies and accomplishment of Project works from UGC, AICTE etc.
     

  9. Department for conduction of Short Term Program (STP) under AICTE on various subjects matters etc.
     
  10. A separate IT Block to extend the existing infrastructure of the IT department.
     

  11. The department comprises of 100 computers.
     
  12. The department is managed by 3 M.E. senior lecturers and 5 graduate lecturers
