2. Mechanical Engineering is the discipline, which deals with the mechanism of various machines, things related to the machine and power plants. In mechanical Engineering the students study about boilers, refrigerators, air-conditioning, thermodynamics, turbines, different types of machines and their operations.
    

3. The department is very robust and strong with the latest collection of various heavy duty lathe, shaper, drilling, milling machines and entirely renovated foundry shop.
    

4. The department workshop consists of :
   a. Machine Shop.
   b. Fitting Shop.
   c. Sheet metal shop
   d. Welding shop
   e. Foundry shop
    

5. The department also teaches a subject engineering graphics in which the students learn how to draw and read the different drawings and their views.
    

6. Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Department is a strong team of 2 M.E. senior lecturers & one graduate lecturer.
    

7. The department is giving best results for the last three years and expects for the same this year.
    

8. Departments' Faculty members have published research papers in National and International Journals.
    

9. Departments' faculty members have attended a number of seminars and workshops which are useful for updating the knowledge.
